Launching A New Brand
Overview
American Standard is a world leader in manufacturing and marketing products for the home, including bathroom fixtures and storage. In mid2002 Ologie was retained by American Standard to develop the brand strategy and the new visuals and verbal language for the private label brand of bath fixtures and accessories for Lowe’s Home Improvement Centers. The new brand called Sottini was to be positioned as a higher-end alternative to traditional brands found in the DIY retail channel. Ologie was responsible for developing the overall creative strategy which was more lifestyle focused than product centric. We also executed all package design for the initial 35 SKU’s as well as graphic elements to be used at the point-of-sale. The brand was successfully launched in all Lowe’s stores during the first quarter of 2003.
