I specialize in cornets and related high brass instruments from the 1800s and early 1900s dating back to the Civil War. I look for high quality examples with an eye toward historical significance and variety. While I have probably owned hundreds of horns since I started over ten years ago I rarely maintain more than 80 items in my collection at a given time. Besides being a collector I am an amateur trumpet and cornet player as well as a jazz and brass band enthusiast. I serve on the Board of Directors for the Columbus College of Art and Design and the Pro Musica Chamber Orchestra. In addition I am a member of the International Trumpet Guild, the Historic Brass Society and the Cornet Conspiracy. By day I am a managing partner in an award-winning branding agency called Ologie. I am married to the most wonderful woman on Earth and have three terrific kids but none of them share my love of musty old brass relics.
