Overview
The Longaberger Company is the nation’s premier maker of handcrafted baskets. For over 30 years Longaberger baskets have been offered through a unique direct selling model and many of the company’s baskets have become collectibles. In March of 2003 the company unveiled The Longaberger Experience, a self-guided, three-dimensional tour installed at its main production facility in Frazeysburg, Ohio. Several months before the grand opening, Ologie was retained by Longaberger to develop all of the graphic communications elements for this unique environmental brand experience. The installation features over 100 large format graphic installations that combine photography with text and images to communicate the company’s history, philosophy and current manufacturing process. This tour is used not only to convey the brand essence to customers but to recruit new direct selling associates as a way of expanding distribution.
